The problem
By 2026, traditional search volume will fall by 25%, eroded by chatbots and AI agents (Gartner, 2024). Brands absent from these conversations will be invisible. But today's options are dominated by US platforms — and fragile: in March 2026 even OpenAI pulled its in-chat checkout, overwhelmed by compliance, payments and technical complexity. And for a European brand, the wrong choice carries three concrete costs.
Messages with ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot transit US servers. The EU-US Data Privacy Framework, valid today, is under litigation before the EU courts: a possible invalidation would force a review of the legal basis for transfers. GDPR fines up to €20M or 4% of annual global revenue, whichever is higher.
From 2 August 2026 the AI Act mandates transparency to the customer — disclosing they are interacting with an AI: a requirement anyone can meet in one line, but it marks the point where European compliance becomes mandatory, not optional. Fines up to €15M or 3% of annual global turnover (breach of obligations, AI Act art. 99).
With centralised platforms, the data and the conversational relationship stay partly under the provider's control, not your brand's. No brand experience, no loyalty, no commercial leverage. The brand uploads its catalogue via Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, CSV or API. Thousands of SKUs in minutes.
esedrIA brings to life an agent that speaks in your brand's tone and knows your catalogue. It lives in a space reserved to you alone, in Europe.
The customer talks to esedrIA's generalist agent, which discovers across the brands in the network. Once a product is chosen, the brand's own agent steps in — its voice, its catalogue. All in the same chat.
